I got the exact same error with the Windows 7 install: Installing both the driver and capwiz on Win7 presents no problems and it will work perfectly. Both the driver and capwiz say they are for XP and capwiz says “XP Only” which might tend to put you off. I was windowa to install the XP version 3.
